A GROUP OF SIX PERSIAN STEEL BELT HOOKS AND TWO ACCESSORIES
Safavid Iran, 17th - 18th century
Comprising six steel belt hooks, all of slightly different sizes with minor variations, two hooks with openwork design, the others engraved, three with dragon-head terminals, the others either plain or with a bulbous knob, the longest 9cm long; and two steel accessories, both with openwork, one possibly used as flint striker, the largest 8cm x 6.5cm including the hook.
