A SECOND QUARTER 19TH CENTURY FRENCH GILT BRONZE MANTEL CLOCK the case of Rococo style, surmounted by a foliate finial, the sides and front with pierced scrolling trellis-work sound frets, raised on four acanthus wrapped scrolling feet, further mounted on a gilt base with moulded acanthus borders and bracket feet, the silvered engine turned dial with Roman numerals, signed 'MANIGLIER A PARIS', with steel Breguet style moon hands, the twin train movement with outside countwheel and silk suspension, the backplate and mounts numbered '4498', lacking pendulum,
