A late 19th / early 20th century Anglo – Indian silver card case, Madras circa 1900
Raj period. Of shaped rectangular form with a hinged lid. Embossed decoration in Swami pattern, of Hindu deities within scrolls to the reverse, the front with a pair of deities within scrolls either side of a vacant shield shape cartouche. The interior bezel stamped SILVER.
