Of hexagonal shape, resting on faceted bracket feet, the corners of the legs inlaid in ivory and coloured wood tesserae, the leg panels with lobed arches surmounted by an openwork seven-pointed star, delicate openwork mashrabiya panels with circular medallions design in the centre, and geometric patterns, mostly including bands of rectangular and star-shaped units, the tabletop with a slightly raised edge, inlaid with fine marquetry work of mother-of-pearl, ivory and coloured wood tesserae, the decorative motif of the top repeating the basic unit of typical Moorish geometric stellar designs (six-pointed star inside a hexagon) in different sizes, 72cm x 65cm x 65cm.
