Whittington from the 21st Royal Fusiliers, prisoner of war in the Gutersloh Camp (Germany) during the First World War, including: a parole pass signed by Whittington ("I give my word of honour that during my walks out of camp I will enither escape, nor try to escape, neither prepare any attempt to escape nor act in any way to the prejudice of Germany"); a menu signed by Whittington and other officers; a photographic portrait of Whittington by Elliott & Fry, on original mount; four photographs of British officers, two signed, c. 1916 (7)
