Of square shape and small size, resting on four compressed globular feet, with an openwork mashrabiya-style backrest on just two sides, the edges inlaid with ivory, mother-of-pearl and ebony marquetry work in the form of diamond-shaped geometric bands, the seat lined in white cotton, the leg panels with a balustrade-like frieze and further openwork mashrabiya panels in the squinches, a lobed arch highlighted by small mother-of-pearl-inlaid roundels set between each leg, 74cm x 44.5cm x 44.5cm.
