In the George III style, with Neoclassical decoration of pierced slats with embossed pendant swags upon a pedestal foot with fluted decoration leading to a square base. The swing handle with corded decoration. Removable blue glass liner, together with a Victorian sugar sifter, London 1895 by Elkington & Co Ltd overstriking another, Old English Thread pattern, virginal. Each fully marked, part-marked to handle.
