An Edwardian sterling silver mounted cut glass claret jug, London 1904 by William Comyns
The quatrefoil lobed clear glass body cut with stylised flower heads and arabesque scrolls with panels of diamond point below. The upper section with open work mounts of trailing flowers and an embossed mount of cherubs within C scrolls, the short spout opposite a C scroll handle. The hinged dome lid with open work edge surmounted by a stylised pyriform finial. Fully marked to edge and part-marked to lid.
