AN ANTIQUE QASHQAI KILIM, SOUTH-WEST PERSIA

The field with ivory and light beige mutlicoloured hooked motif wide lattice containing shaped multicoloured panels. In polychome stepped arrowhead open border. Checkered and striped skirt at each end, approx: 13ft.1in. x 4ft.7in.(399cm. x 140cm.) Very good example and unusual size. Colours are well blended. Very nice bold design. Apart of slight localized wear and small old flat repiling, well done, this kilim is in very good usable condition. Ends with original fringes. Selvages are also original. Attractive and very good furnishing piece
