An early 20th century Austrian 800 standard silver three-piece coffee service on tray, Vienna circa 1922-24 by Ferdinand Feuchtner (active 1915-24)
Comprising a coffee pot, a milk jug and a twin handled sugar bowl with a Bakelite lid of conforming shape. Each of broadly oval form with fluted sides, the coffee pot with a tubular spout opposite a tubular D section handle fitted with ivory insulators pinned to tubular sockets, the hinged domed lid of conforming shape surmounted by a detachable compressed circular knop. The tray of rectangular form with canted corners with a beaded edge, simple angular twin handles. The coffee elements with post-1921 assay marks, the tray with pre-1921 assay marks, each with makers mark FF in a clipped oval punch. (4)
