A Victorian sterling silver tea caddy, London 1898 by George Fox
In the George III manner, of oval form, the hinged domed lid surmounted by a detachable carved ivory pineapple finial. The front with a laurel wreath cartouche engraved with a crest of a fleur-de-lis, around it a serpent entwined, otherwise edge with scrolling borders. Fully marked to side, the lid and finials section part-marked.
