A cased George V sterling silver mounted Paragon demitasse coffee set, Birmingham 1932 by Joseph Gloster Ltd
Comprising six cups and six saucers, each printed with rose with a gilt edge, the holder sections with egg and dart rim and C scroll handles, each engraved with an initial G in cursive script. Together with six matching spoons, initialled the same. The leatherette case with applied plaque with engraved presentation inscription of South African interest reading “Presented to District Surgeon Dr H.G. Goldwater on the occasion of his marriage by the St John Ambulance Brigade, Johannesburg, 30-1-35”. Each fully marked, the ceramic elements branded Paragon Fine Bone China Made in England.
