A FINE BIJAR RUG, NORTH-WEST PERSIA approx: 6ft.11in. x 4ft.7in.(211cm. x 140cm.) Very good type with lovely design and very good colour combination. Apart of slight localized wear to the pile in couple of small places, barely visible form one end, this rug has good pole and is in very good usable condition. Selvages original, ends with short fringes, secured. Lovely example from Bijar weave. attractive, ca.1920.
