Comprising the embroidered ends of a Turkish towel, the white linen ground worked in coloured silks, silver thread, and tape with naive floral vases on a schematic floral border, the hem hand-finished, the towel panel folded behind, possibly complete, mounted, glazed and framed, the loom width ca. 41cm, 46.5cm x 37.2cm including the frame; another, similar, worked in dark brown, aquamarine, and ivory silk threads and silver with two rows of four buti, each with 4 lines of the same text in Turkish, the fringes on view, the towel panel folded behind, possibly complete, mounted, glazed and framed, the loom width ca. 47cm, 50.5cm x 35.3cm including the frame; and another, similar, later in date, the towel hems crochet-finished, 45.7cm x 27.4cm including the frame.
