Later half brown calf, with marbled boards (spine lightly bumped). Provenance: “From Ellen Parkhurst to Miss Radie, 1817” (later printed label which claims that the original covers were inscribed and dated by Parkhurst to Radie).  With MS [Birthday Book]. –[c.1890’s] ‘Words from the Book of Life’. MS lettered in black, red and gilt, including a daily calendar with quotes/excerpts from the Old Testament. Provenance: Helen Pitcairn (signature).
