A LATE 19TH CENTURY GERMAN SILVER ‘HISTORISMUS’ GOBLET, HANAU PROBABLY BY GEORGE ROTH, IMPORT MARKS FOR LONDON 1895 BY BERTHOLD MULLER
The quatrefoil tapering bowl supported on a stem formed as a woman in 18th century dress with a staff leading to a domed foot with broad edge. The bowl with embossed foliate scroll cartouches, the base with flat chased decoration of C scrolls. The bowl marked with a single pseudo mark, also with import marks.
