A mid-19th century Continental porcelain bonbonniere, circa 1860, of oval form, painted en grisaille with rural scenes, the lid with a mill against trees and a river, the sides showing a mountainside, the metal mount with shell and scroll clasp, unmarked, height 5cm x width 7cm x depth 5cm.
