An early to mid-20^th Iraqi silver and niello water ewer, circa 1940 signed Omara, Salih

The body of tapering truncated conical form leading to a tall ringed neck with everted rim and a strap handle with shaped thumbpiece. The body with niello decoration of the Tomb of Ezra, as well as camels, sailing boats and palm trees all above a geometric band. Signed to the side.
