Republic period.

Each of rectangular-section, the first painted to the cover with two dragons contesting the sacred pearl of wisdom above the sea, the second with a scholar and his acolyte in a landscape, the dragon box with a Shen Shao'an S*u Kee mark to the base, 31cm long. (2)
