A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE 'BAJIXIANG' BOWL.

Qing Dynasty, six character Qianlong mark and of the period.

The tall body with a gently everted rim painted with the Eight Buddhist symbols, stylised lotus flower heads and a tetrad of auspicious characters wan shou wu jiang, each enclosed in a ruyi head roundel, all between a band of scrolls to the rim and lappets around the foot, the interior with the Bajixiang encircling a stylised shou character, 18cm diameter, 10cm H.
