AN EGYPTIAN FIGURE OF OSIRIS Late Period, Circa 664 - 332 B.C. Mummiform, the figure stands holding the crook and flail and wearing an atef crown with a frontal uraeus, with incised detail on the side feathers and the uraeus, he also wears the false beard, A tang for attachment protrudes from his feet, 14.7cm long, Provenance: Collection of Mr Yeates, Dublin, acquired 1878; Private Collection, UK, acquired in the 1970s.
