An early 20th century Chinese export silver mounted four bottle bitters decanter, Hong Kong circa 1930, retailed by Tack Hing
Republic period. Of baluster form upon a spreading circular foot, the cylindrical neck fitted with four pouring lips, the pull out cork stoppers with mounts formed as new bamboo shoots. The glass body with pierced openwork mounts of four areas of decoration, a Chinese dragon amidst clouds, bamboo, peonies, and a scene of a boat in the foreground and a pagoda in the background. The neck with a Chinese dragon chasing the sacred pearl as a vacant cartouche. The clear glass body with four internal divisions, moulded underneath MADE IN FRANCE. Marked underneath with retailer’s mark TACKHING, STERLING, MADE IN HK, C.
