The bowl with rounded sides atop a short cylindrical foot, painted to the interior with lion dogs and foliate medallions tied with flowing ribbons, the exterior and base glazed white, the inkstone of compressed barrel form painted with four quatrefoil panels enclosing chrysanthemums and peonies, all on a floral diaper ground beneath a band of crashing waves,
