Steamed into a typical high-domed shape, the white wool felt worked in black silk, predominantly in chevron stitches, with lobed cartouches stemming from the stellar crown, containing eulogising phrases and Persian poetry in praise of the Shi'a Imam Ali in nasta’liq script, 18cm diam. and 18cm high.
