Qing Dynasty, Kangxi period.

With a tapered body painted with lotus blossoms and foliage emerging from the surface of the water, a band of scrolls to the short neck and a chain around the foot, 12cm H.

Provenance: English diplomatic collection, acquired in Beijing in the 1950s, thence by descent.
