A FINE LATE 19TH CENTURY SWISS MUSICAL BOX BY PAILLARD VAUCHER ET FILS the rosewood and boxwood inlaid case opening to reveal the paper label to the inside of the lid, decorated with a pair of classical maidens, the main field left blank, the dust lid opening to reveal the cylinder and comb, playing six airs, numbered 9809, 42cm wide In working order but not fully tested or guaranteed.  Provenance: purchased by the current vendor from Keith Harding, Clocks and Musical Boxes, Gloucestershire on 6th May 1987.
