Comprising four pottery dishes of various size, each of typical circular shape and resting on short straight feet, including two with wide flattened rims, and all four featuring archetypal Kubachi pottery designs painted in different combinations of cobalt blue, turquoise, green, yellow, bole red, and black, on a white ground, the most striking dish with a Chinese garden scene to the centre featuring two plump birds amongst foliage and between two pagodas, three with rulings dividing the back and stylised minimal palmettes on the smallest, the largest dish 35cm diam. and the smallest 20.2cm diam.
