A mid-20th century Persian (Iranian) silver cocktail tray, Isfahan circa 1960 mark of Amirian, retailed by Parvaresh
Pahlavi dynasty. Of rectangular form with a rounded corners and an ovolo edge with a chased monabbat-kari acanthus scroll and rosette rim. The field finely worked with engraved ghalam zani decoration of a central sixteen-pointed scroll work medallion, reserved with deer being attacked by lions, recumbent foxes as well as lion attacking each other, long tailed birds and peacocks, all amidst scroll work, arabesques and textured panels, all edged with a rosette border. The edge with an alternating band of peonies and shaped cartouches with scrolls. Marked to the reverse with retailer's mark Qalam Parvaresh (the pen of Parvaresh) پرورش workshop mark امیریان, standard mark (۸۴).
