Qing Dynasty, Canton, circa 1840.

Bound in a French fine binding in full cream calf leather, coloured onlays and full gilt design decoration in a geometric design and silk onlay label to the centre of the front cover stamped 'ALBUM', protected in cloth chemise and slipcase, containing seven highly detailed paintings, each with tissue guard and ornamental gold foil border, depicting three regal portraits, an interior scene with Go players, and images of the planting and trading of tea, each with an ornamental gold foil border, each image 17.5cm x 28.5cm - 19cm x 30.6cm, the album 27 x 37.5cm.
