Late Ming dynasty.
The Jar supported on a short straight foot, with broad shoulders and short tapered neck with lipped rim, painted to the panorama in vivid blues with a scholar seated at a low table watching a group of boys at play among rockery landscape, another scholar stahding with a fan in one hand cheerfully in conversation with another boy, the shoulder encircled by a band of flowers in panels against diaper ground, a mark to the base, 24cm H.
