An early 20^th century Iraqi silver and niello snuff box, circa 1910

Rectangular form with canted corners, with a hinged lid. The top with niello decoration of a sailing boat between roses, the sides with a palm tree, as well as rosettes in scrolls, corned with two mudif. The catch engraved Tahir.
