A LATE 19TH CENTURY GILT BRONZE AND PIETRE DURE INLAID CASKET, in the Neo-Grec style, of rectangular form with four feet modelled with sphinxes, the hinged lid with rope twist border, the top panel depicing a humming bird amongst foliage, the front with a butterfly and the sides and back with scrolling foliage and gilt branches, the interior with original pink silk lining,

13.5cm high x 22cm wide x 15cm deep
