An Alexander III / Nicholas II Russian 84 Zolotnik (875 standard) silver fish slice, Moscow circa 1890 by Alexi Nickolaievich Krylov (active 1884-98)

The spade shaped blade with finely pierced and engraved decoration of two fish among foliate scrolls, heightened with matting. The plain filled handle virginal. Fully marked to blade edge, assay’s mark and date stamp obliterated with AHK mark, the shaft with town mark and AK mark.

Length – 31 cm / 12.05 inches

Weight - 196 grams / 6.3 ozt

Mark: Ivanov 2174, “owner of a silverwork esrablishment, 1884-1898; Serpukhovskoye shosse, Poluboyarov’s House, Moscow.”
