A mid-20^th century Iraqi silver and niello tobacco jar or tea caddy, Omara circa 1940 signed Sardr

Of cylindrical form with a pull off domed lid. The lid with a niello scene of the Al Kadhimiya mosque, Baghdad. The sides with the Great Mosque of Samarra, a dhow sailing boat and the al-Askari mosque in Samarra. The lid with niello initials. Signed to the side amal’e Sardr.
