Opaque pigments heightened with gold and silver on paper, the vertical composition depicting the blue-skinned Hindu god Krishna standing with one leg on a lotus flower emerging from a pond, playing the flute, flanked by two white cows, the scene set within ochre yellow rules and bright red borders, mounted, glazed and framed, the painting 21cm x 15cm, 40.7cm x 33cm including the frame.
