A late 19th century / early 20th century French 950 standard silver ewer and basin, Paris circa 1900 by Henri Soufflot (active 1884-1910)

The basin of circular form upon a moulded circular foot, with embossed decoration of rocaille, ears of wheat, rockery and foliate scrolls. The ewer of globular form upon a circular foot with spiral rocaille decoration, this repeated on the everted neck, the body with embossed rocaille foliate scrolls, the scrolling C scroll handle with rocaille embellishments. Each fully marked. (2)

Basin diameter – 41 cm / 16.05 inches
