A mid-19th century Portuguese silver snuffers tray, Porto circa 1855 by APC script possibly for Antonio Pereira de Castro

Peter V period. Of shaped broadly oblong form raised upon four ball feet. The body with embossed decoration of splays of roses. Marked to the underside with assay mark of Manuel da Silva (reg. 1853, V.98) and makers mark (V.693) and assay scrape.
