AN EXREMELY FINE PART SILK NAIN RUG, CENTRAL PERSIA, approx; 137cm. x 141cm. Very good example for this type with incredibly fine weave, approx: 13 x 12 knots per sq.cm. This rug has two minute splits, one on the edge of one side and the other one on the edge of one corner. The pile is full, soft and lustrous wool and part silk. Ends with short kilim and fringes. Selvages original with very small touches of fraying on wool cord also a very small rebound on cord towards one end. Very well blended colours and well drawn design. In general this rug is in very good usable conditon. Attractive and very good square furnishing size.
