An early 20^th century Swiss silver and guilloche enamel compact, import mark for Vienna post 1925

Of oval form with die-rolled sides. The hinged lid and base with engine turned decoration topped with translucent purple enamel, the lid centered with an applied marcasite lozenge. Two loop attachments. Gilt interior with mirror. Marked to lid flange with ARGENT, 0935 and Austrian import mark for 935 standard.
