AN ANTIQUE QASHQAI RUG, SOUTH-WEST PERSIA

Approx: 193cm. x 135cm. Very good example for this type with well drawn various floral motifs around three linked floral medallions. Good colour combination. Apart of slight wear to the top pile, barely visible and one ot two small areas where down to knot collar, this rug has good pile, soft wool quality and in general is in good usable condition. Selvages original with touches localized fraying wool on cord edges. Ends with short fringes, secured. Very good furnishing rug with good square size. Elegant and very good furnishing piece. Woven on wool foundation.
