A VERY FINE PART SILK INDIAN RUG, approx: 190cm. x 120cm. Very nicely drawn design with good colour combination on ivory field. This rug has full pile. The field is woven in very soft silk together with part wool of lustrous and soft quality. Selvages original. Ends with original kilim and fringes. Very fine weave, approx: 9 x 8 knots per sq. cm. in general this rug is in very good conditon throughout. Early type, seldom found in the sales. Attractive piece.
