A CLAY HORSE AND RIDER Circa 1st Millennium B.C. Both the horse and rider are depicted in a highly stylised manner, the horse stands on its four straight legs, with a long neck and small head with up-pricked ears, the horse wears a bridle and saddle atop which the rider sits with short stumpy limbs and wearing a pointed narrow rimmed hat, with traces of slip surviving, 25.3cm high, 16cm long,  Provenance: Acquired German art market, 1973.
