Rear Admiral Sir Richard Hugh Loraine Bevan, KBE, CB, DSO, MVO, DL (1885 – 1976) working as Naval Attaché to the British diplomatic missions in Athens and Rome until 1931.
Greek artist ALEBIZOS TASSOS (1914-1985) attended the painting classes of George Kotsakis. In 1930, at age 16, he was admitted to the Athens School of Fine Arts - ASFA. There he took courses in sculpture and painting workshops of Thomas Thomopoulos, Umberto Argyros and Constantine Parthenis.
