A LARGE WEMYSS WARE JAR, 20TH CENTURY, decorated with plums, with a scalloped green border, with a painted mark for Wemyss, T. Goode & Co. to base, together with a waisted specimen vase with four handles, decorated with cherries, stamped 'Wemyss' to base, and a small Wemyss sugar pot and cover, decorated with oranges, with a scalloped green border, with painted mark for Wemyss to base (3)

Provenance: The following pieces are part of the collection of Iris Fox (1913-1992), one of the principal collectors of Wemyss Ware. After her death in 1992, part of the collection was donated to the Newport Museum, whilst the remaining items were auctioned at Sotheby’s Edinburgh, in the single owner sale ‘The Iris Fox Collection’, 7-8th November 1994.
