The different plants and insects depicted in this picture are based on the hedgebanks in Suffolk during summer it depicts the wildflowers: Dandelion, Creeping Buttercup, Cocksfoot and Meadow Foxtail. Also shown are the butterflies and moths: Marbled White, Speckled Wood, Ringlet, Drinker, Common Wainscot, Dark Arches, Wall, Gothic, Clouded Buff, Muslin Moth, and Hebrew Character.
