AN EARLY 20^TH CENTURY AUSTRIAN SILVER AND ENAMEL NOVELTY EROTIC CIGARETTE CASE, VIENNA CIRCA 1915 BY GEORG ADAM SCHEID (1838-1921, REG. 1882)

Of rectangular form with an engine turned front topped with translucent yellow guilloche enamel, painted with a scene of a bare-chested woman in a negligée and stockings standing on a carpet with cushions feeding fruit to a monkey in a suspended ring. Gilt interior. Push button release (defunct). Marked to the interior with assay mark (900 standard), ‘900’ and G.A.S incuse.
