An early 20^th century Iraqi silver and niello cigarette case, Basra or Omara circa 1925 signed Abdul Jabbar

Of rectangular form with rounded corners. The front with scene of the Abu Hanifa al in Nu'man, Baghdad, a dhow sailing boat and two palm trees, with an upper left with niello initials in cypher BOB. The obverse with a scene of a dhow sailing boat on a river. Signed to the reverse top right.
