Of rectangular shape, on a plain wooden base, the papier-mâché interior painted in red and black, the wooden exterior clad with slabs of macassar ebony decorated with gilt lobed medallions filled with arabesques, floral and vegetal sprays against a dotted ground, all panels presenting holes, possibly for knob fittings, one of the panels further embellised with a copper alloy Western stylised lion face, 15.5cm x 11cm x 11cm.
