A CASED GEORGE IV STERLING SILVER CHRISTENING SET, BIRMINGHAM 1824 BY JOHN THROPP

Composed of a spoon, a fork and a knife with die cast filled silver handles of flower heads and cornucopia with shell terminals. Housed within a later fitted leather case with velvet interior. Fully marked to the spoon and part-marked to the knife blade and makers mark only to the fork.

Case length – 20.5 cm / 8 inches
