A CHINESE JADEITE FIGURE OF SHOULAO.

The bearded sage supporting himself on a gnarled walking stick suspending double gourds and a scrolls, carrying a peach in his left hand, accompanied by a crane and a deer each with a lingzhi in its mouth, the deer burdened with a basket filled with plump peaches, the stone with white mottling and minor brown veins. This piece has been tested, the results confirm untreated jadeite, 24cm long.
